The truth is that, since he was a competitor at Masterchef, he has been left with a super recipe: shrimp with orange juice. Sometimes we make them with prosecco, other times with orange juice, but each time with a lot of juice in which to soak slices of freshly toasted bread!

Ingredient:

  • 5 thin sliced ​​mushrooms

Then put a pot of boiling water and, when it has boiled, put the shrimp and cook for a maximum of two minutes. Do not overdo it because they will become gummy. they cool completely.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup, cognac, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Instead of pepper you can put a few drops of Tabasco sauce. And a little Worcestershire sauce gives a special taste to the mixture.

Then chop the shrimp and mix them with the sauce.

Then prepare 6 cups (if you have some for the cocktail, they are perfect), place washed, dried lettuce leaves and divide the composition evenly in each.

Decorate the cups with shrimp that you left with the tail and lemon slices. Keep cold until the moment you serve. Enjoy!

Whatever you choose, if it smells like ammonia, throw it away. It's a sign that they're not exactly fresh.

2. Defrost them correctly
Do not cook shrimp without thawing them first. If you put them frozen in boiling water, they will not cook well. It is best to put them in cold water and they will thaw in a few minutes.

3. Season them
Shrimp are sweet, soft and have the flavor of the sea. This does not mean that you do not have to put at least a little salt on them. If you want to give them a very special aroma, however, you can try lemon, garlic, parsley, basil, mint, dill, fennel, rosemary and other spices, depending on how you prepare them.

4. Don't cook for too long
There is one simple rule you need to know: straight shrimp are undercooked, C-shaped shrimp are perfectly cooked, and curled shrimp that look like the letter O are cooked far too hard and most likely have a texture. of rubber.

5. Do not buy them in the semi-prepared version

Noodles with shrimp from: shrimp, olive oil, garlic, ginger, beef soup, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime, noodles, bell peppers, mushrooms, coriander, salt, pepper.

Ingredient:

  • 1/2 kg shrimp, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger root
  • 500ml beef soup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 file
  • 2 packets of noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper, cubes
  • 250gr mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the shrimp. Cook on both sides. Season with a little salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Not long ago I prepared a recipe for a friend, as simple as it is delicious & # 8211 shrimp tagliatelle.

ingredients:

  • 150 gr. tagliatelle
  • 200 gr. peeled shrimp
  • 50 gr. butter
  • 250 ml. cooking cream
  • juice from half a lemon
  • 5 & ​​# 8211 6 cloves of garlic
  • 4 & # 8211 5 cherry tomatoes
  • a bunch of parsley
  • 2 & # 8211 3 basil leaves
  • salt, pepper, chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

It is recommended to have all the ingredients close because the preparation of the recipe takes a maximum of 10 minutes and we will have to have them all at hand.

I put on the fire a pot with 2 liters of water and salt in which I will boil the pasta for 5 minutes. This time I chose tagliatelle with aromatic plants that will give a special taste.

I prepare a pan in which I heat the olive oil with half the amount of butter and add the shrimp, which I let change color and brown a little for a maximum of 3-4 minutes.

Add lemon juice and finely chopped garlic. I only leave them for a minute, I put the rest of the butter and cream for cooking that I had taken out of the fridge in time to reach room temperature.

I always mix with the fire very slowly until the sauce thickens a little, then I add the chopped tomatoes.

Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of chili powder and then put the pan aside.

The pasta is ready too. I strain them and then I add them over the sour cream sauce with shrimp.

Sprinkle the finely chopped parsley and a basil leaf, mix well and prepare the plates impatiently.

I can only tell you how they came out. A very fine aroma of garlic and herbs, some pasta rich in creamy sour cream sauce and last but not least delicious shrimp.
