I want to tell you about what a wonderful fryer I received and how many delicious, fast and dietary recipes you can cook with its help.
Air fryer is a “fryer” that cooks with hot air, without a drop of oil or with a tiny amount, and the taste is very close to the dishes cooked in an oil bath. So far I have tested on the air fryer: chicken coqlet, spicy wings, french fries, cabanos, fresh sausages, meatballs, buritto, quesadilla, small, cakes, salmon, sea bream, burgers. And I received it about two weeks ago, imagine! I use it daily, sometimes several times a day, being very easy to clean.
So, don't be surprised if I post more recipes that use the fryer. I promise to give you traditional cooking alternatives or to convince you to buy one, there are many brands on the market and you have a choice, almost all of them work on the same principle!
700 g minced pork
1/2 bunch of parsley
3 cloves of crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon paprika
- I chopped the onion, soaked the bread in water and squeezed it well, then mixed all the ingredients in a bowl. By hand, make sure the mixture is balanced.
I formed the meatballs and sprayed a little olive oil on them. (their size will influence the baking, mine are about the size of a ping pong ball).
I heated the fryer to 200 degrees and, after about 3 minutes, I placed the meatballs regularly.
I "fried" the meatballs for about 16-18 minutes, turning them once. The bowl of my fryer is 2.5 l, but I placed the meatballs in a single row and cooked them in 3 slices, to cook evenly.
The taste seems identical to those fried in oil, but they are dietary, no salt on the walls, on the stove or on the cook, the whole house doesn't smell of frying, the fryer is extra clean, nothing sticks.
If you do not own such a fryer and do not intend to buy it, you can bake the meatballs in the oven or fry them. Until I discovered the hot air fryer, they looked absolutely perfect in the oven.
The meatballs can be served dry or used for the marinated meatball recipe.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (suitable heat). Wash the fruit and wipe with a kitchen towel. Remove the pits, and if they are too large, cut them in half or cubes so that they do not fall to the bottom of the tray. Set aside until the dough is ready.
Break the eggs in a large bowl. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt (as much as you take with three fingers) and mix well for approx. 2-3 minutes. Use the mixer with confidence: P. The composition must be frothy.
Add the (cold) milk and oil and mix again for a few seconds. Sift the flour together with the starch or pudding powder (if you don't have it, add all the flour) and the baking powder and incorporate it into the dough.
Wallpaper a large tray of approx. 40 × 30 cm. Pour the dough and level. Put the fruit in a bag with five, six tablespoons of flour or ground walnuts (or half flour + half walnuts) and shake well. Sprinkle the fruit as evenly as possible on top of the dough (do not press them into the dough) and immediately put the form in the oven.
Leave approx. 20 minutes and then lower the temperature to 170 degrees C (slow fire). Hold for another 15-20 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test (stick a toothpick in the middle of the countertop, and if it comes out clean, the countertop is ready).

You must try these Greek chicken meatballs because they are fabulous! I haven't been so excited about a newly discovered dish for a long time. Yes, I ate something similar in the Netherlands, ordering takeaway from a local Greek restaurant. Among many other snacks were meatballs with olives, feta and bell peppers. Theirs were with lamb and were fried classically (in oil). I tried to identify the ingredients while enjoying the meatballs, just with the idea of reproducing them at home.
The pieces of feta, olives and red pepper were visible to the naked eye. The aromas of onion, garlic and oregano were felt, as well as a moderate sharpness. I felt and saw the greenery (dill and green parsley). But there was something else & # 8230 Aha! Grated lemon peel! I managed to identify 1-2 strands in it that would strengthen my suspicion. I returned home (to Arad) and set out to recreate these wonderful meatballs for the rest of the family to enjoy. Not everyone has access to minced lamb and some people don't even like it, so I chose to make them with poultry. For the spicy note I used a little hot pepper & # 8211 which is optional. I used boneless chicken legs but you can just as well make them from chicken breast (but they come out drier). You can also use beef, pork, pork mix with beef.
From the quantities below we obtained approx. 34-36 Greek meatballs that can be served both hot and cold.

Finely chop the onion and heat it in a little oil, add the peas, salt and pepper and leave it on the fire for about 20 minutes, adding from time to time (if necessary) hot water.

We then put them to cool, then cut them and grind them with a robot until we obtain a homogeneous composition that we transfer to a bowl. Add the chopped parsley, Parmesan cheese and egg. Mix everything well then add the peas. Add salt and pepper and form meatballs. We pass them first in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs.
Put plenty of oil in a pan, let it heat up and then fry the resulting meatballs until golden (about 3-4 minutes). We arrange the fried croquettes on a plate on which we put fried paper.
Put the drill in a bowl, and pour 1/2 glass of water over it, mix it and let it swell for 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the filling: finely chop the onion and cook together with the other ingredients in 2 tablespoons of oil. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
